And that does not involve caloric restriction! Counting calories will leave you in “calorie restriction prison” - which is not a place you want to be… This will only leave you more hungry, less satiated, and will not be a successful weight loss strategy long term. Most weight loss programs (like weight watchers) suggest you cut calories and eat garbage foods in a caloric deficit. The issue here is that these garbage foods are full of seed oils, processed sugars, and processed grains (the “fat triad” as I like to call it). This will only leave you hungrier and will not promote satiety. The second rule of thumb here is to AVOID processed foods. This is the most important step here, and if done, will lead to effortless and sustainable weight loss. So what do I suggest you eat? It’s simple - REAL foods. Meat, organs, fruit, and (if you have to) vegetables. The most crucial thing is avoiding processed foods. Eat real foods like fatty meat and the least toxic plant foods (fruit) and you will be satiated, achieve metabolic health, and lose weight!
