Lizzo looks confident in midriff-baring crop top after defending weight loss She feels “good as hell” in her own skin. Lizzo stepped out for a late dinner at Craig’s in West Hollywood, Calif., Friday night in a sexy outfit from her shapewear brand, Yitty. The “About Damn Time” singer, 35, wore a black long-sleeved crop top that exposed her midriff and a white mini skirt that showcased her legs. She paired the cool look with a black-and-white purse and Converse sneakers. Lizzo’s revealing ensemble comes just weeks after she shut down people who criticized her for losing weight. “I have a very high-performance job,” she said in a TikTok video in May, explaining why she had gotten slimmer. “For 90 minutes a night, I have to do choreography. I have to sing. I have to dance. I have to rap and I have to play the flute — and I have to emote and hype a crowd in very tight clothes. Sometimes clothes [that] restrict my breathing.” The Grammy winner then clarified, “I’m not trying to be thin. I don’t ever want to be thin.” Earlier this month, Lizzo bared her bum in a pink thong bathing suit — once again showing she is not afraid to flaunt some skin. “Never beating the fat-ass allegations… ,” she wrote on Instagram on June 4 alongside close-up shots of her butt in swimwear from Yitty. While several fans have praised Lizzo for her confidence, others have body-shamed the “Truth Hurts” musician for her size. A Twitter user recently shared a video of her performing with the caption, “How is Lizzo THIS fat when she’s constantly moving this much on stage?! I wonder what she must be eating.” The “2 Be Loved” songstress then directly addressed the remark online, writing back, “I JUST logged on [on this] app and this is the type of s–t I see about me on a daily basis. “It’s really starting to make me hate the world.” Lizzo further explained that she was “not trying to BE fat” and “not trying to BE smaller” but was rather “just trying to live and be healthy.” “This is what my body looks like even when I’m eating super clean and working out!” she added. Like Lizzo, Adele has also faced backlash over her trimmer figure. #lizzo #hollywood #musician #weightloss
